The Response D18 has proven to be one of ProAc’s most successful loudspeakers receiving critical worldwide acclaim.  However, the D18 is only available with a dome tweeter, so to satisfy demand for those people wanting a ribbon tweeter ProAc has redesigned the D18 using an upgraded cabinet with new bass loading, new crossover network and the ProAc ribbon tweeter used in other models.

This new exciting model is called the D20R and with the upgrades the sound quality has improved in all areas.  The D20R uses a similar cone to the D18, which gives the wonderful midrange associated with that speaker, however the D20R has new bass loading used in both D30 & D40.  The ribbon tweeter used is also the same ribbon used in the D30 & D40 models.  These results bring more refinements produce a light and airy frequency response and the bar and vent bass loading system gives immense low frequency, power & extension.

The Response D20R will retail in the UK at £2,650 in standard veneer finishes, £3180.00 for ebony and rosewood.
