Meghallgatva vásárlói igényeit, az Avid bejelentette, hogy rendelhető az ISIS 2000 kisebb, 120 TB kapacitású un near-line háttértára, a már eddig is vásárolható 240 TB-os változat mellett.

Az ISIS 5000 és 7000 megosztott háttértárak kiegészítőjeként használható tárolási megoldás segítségével jelentősen bővíthető az említett on-line rendszerek tárolási kapacitása, az ISIS 2000 alkalmas az on-line tárak tehermentesítésére, itt tárolhatóak a ritkábban használatos vagy akár a proxy felbontású anyagok, és hatékony lehet a használatuk ingest vagy archiválási feladatok  elvégzésére is.

Természetesen az ISIS 2000 tökéletesen illeszkedik, minden Avid eszközök (vágórendszerek, Interplay MAM rendszer) segítségével kialakított workflow folyamatba és adminisztrációja az ISIS tároló rendszerek esetében már megismert egyszerű és hatékony módon elvégezhető és széleskörűen testreszabható.
